Local Craft Shows

How do I find a local craft show?

Search at home
Your local Chamber of Commerce, civic center and charitable organizations are great places to start. Give them a call to find out if they are sponsoring any events where crafts are sold. If you have a nearby craft and hobby store like Hobby Lobby or Ben Franklin, you could also see if they know of any upcoming craft shows.

Search the Web
Online resources are another way to get information about craft shows. The Internet makes it easy to find craft-related events if you know where to look! You will be able to find organizations (like the Chamber of Commerce) mentioned above. Also try searching the Net for terms like "festivals", "events" and even (you guessed it) "crafts".

Sunshine Artist is a magazine dedicated to the professional exhibitor of handmade items. I, and many others, have used this publication for years and have found it priceless for finding events to attend. Their Web site is also packed with information for craftspeople. Pay it a visit if you will be spending any time searching for or attending events.

Where The Shows Are! is an excellent resource containing accurate, up-to-date information on almost 7000 different events throughout the east coast!

Last, but certainly not least, I have quite a few lists of craft shows, fairs and festivals right here! Our [link url=/od/craftshows/]Craft Show Category[/url] is a list with tons of resources for finding craft shows.
